Gory and campy, yet sentimental film about a romantic cemetery worker who must cope with a moronic assistant and a problem with the dead rising from their graves. He shoots the zombies to keep them down, but especially has trouble when the girl he loves is killed and then returns.

This movie was based on the novel by Italian comic-book author Tizlano Sclavi, who covered similar themes in his comic book Dylan Dog. The character of Dylan Dog is actually based on Rupert Everett.
